I have always loved photography, my friends and I try to go out on "photo journeys" every once and a while, just to go out and shoot. We get in the car, pick "left, right or straight?" and just drive until someone says "stop!"

I love being able to look at all the different pictures here, it's amazing how everyone has a different view or angle of, sometimes, the same subject. I am learning so much from my friends on flickr, and just by being inspired by so many great photographers.

My current camera of choice is the Nikon D700 usually with the 50mm 1.8 or the 85mm 1.8. I love my Nikon, and usually take it everywhere with me, because you never know when the perfect shot will appear.

I'm a little crazy, who isn't? I love the color green. Why? It reminds me of the smell of fresh cut hay, yeah, I'm a farm girl and proud of it. I love old buildings, especially barns and country churches. Some day, I will fulfill my dream of driving around the countryside and taking shots of all the churches that you find randomly in the middle of nowhere.
