A New England native, I currently reside in Central Massachusetts. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in painting in 1993 and was fortunate enough to have spent my third year in Rome with RISD's European Honors Program. After college I enjoyed a brief stint as a freelance illustrator, mainly for The New Yorker magazine, before my interests turned toward plants and gardening. These days most of my energy is spent on being a stay-at-home mom. I draw when I get the chance.
