I am a full time, independent artist originally from the Bronx. Six months after my Mother passed away in 2008, I created my self-contained, independent arts company, Bassa Bassa Arts, and dedicated it to her memory. I now showcase, feature and sell my original works of art around the world.

As a creative writer, painter and illustrator, I create work on linen canvas sheets and various types of paper, such as canvas paper, Bristol Paper, index cards, latex impregnated paper, board and the back of old business cards. I operate a a blog called, "Revolutionary Picture Book," which features over 50 of my paintings and illustrations as well as original poetry, prose, and vignettes. I am inspired by the Caribbean Carnival tradition, graffiti, hip-hop, non-traditional storytelling, visions and spirituality. My paintings often feature characters attached to larger stories connected to my ongoing mythology. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
