You are The Hermit
Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.
The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.
The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.
The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

I am an ISFP
My pictures started out using a disposable camera and but now all my pictures are by a $100 digital point and shoot.
Now my $100 point & shoot has been retired, and I have upgraded to the best point and shoot out there, with all the bells and whistles. After this one, maybe a DSLR..............
I now have a DSLR, yay! Nikon D3000.

"Aussie has a wonderful eye for capturing the beauty that surrounds him, and making you think you are sitting next to a particular lake or standing in the midst of a meadow full of flowers. He, too, always has something good to say. I feel fortunate to call him a friend."

Spirit Dancing says:
"Ashley has such an energetic and joyful spirit. You really feel it when he generously comments on the work of those whose images he admires. I definitely smile whenever I see the word "matey" tucked somewhere into his kind remarks; it's really his endearing trademark.
A devoted dad and avid hiker in the Kern County Mountains, Ashley has become quite the wildflower aficionado, often returning with wonderful images of unsual blossoms found during his adventures. I invite you to check out his photostream. What this man can do with a point-and-shoot proves that it isn't always about having the best camera gear; it's about having a good eye for a great image.
Thanks for your friendship, matey! ;-)"1st July, 2009

"I have been on flickr now for a couple of years and have had AussieinUSA as a contact for most of the time. The images he posts are beautiful and colourful. He provides great feedback to other people and has provided me with inspiration to attempt to take pictures half as good as his.
I am priviledged to have him as a contact."29th April, 2009

"I've been looking at Ashley's images over the past year or so, and he never fails to impress. His images from the Sierra Nevada look like they could be postcards.
Today, I just noticed what equipment he's using... a Kodak EasyShare, point and shooter. Now, I'm just stunned.
Truly, photography is more about one's eye than it is about one's equipment.
Amazing work."4th November, 2007

byrne.images (out on assignment) says:
"From the Land Down Under, to Ridgecrest Ca... I've been a contact of Ashley's for several months now...had to be the Formula 1 connection that got it started. What I noticed first was his keen eye for places in the Sierra Nevada mountains that I've been to as well. Ashley has photographed these familiar places and exhibited them here on Flickr in ways that remind me of how these places looked when I saw them last. Most places he sees, photographs and shares here, I'll not ever see again (unless I can helicopter in) so I look forward to seeing what landscape is presented next... Look at Ashley's photostream close as there are treasures to be uncovered.
Cheers mate~ Mike"29th August, 2007
