Etchings Plus' photostream  

I love etchings, victorian waterolours and drawings,any art really up to the 1950s, so here are a few. It is turning out to be a good exercise in finding pictures buried in cupboards and put inside the pages of books for safe keeping. All images are of original artwork unless stated otherwise. Some images are scanned and some taken with my little digital camera through the glass of the frames. I am as interested in the artists as I am the pictures so any info gratefully recieved. I have been collecting for about 9 years so still a novice.
By the way, you will find the odd Westie in the collection as well, but remember, I collect art, I can't take a photo to save my life ;-)


PS Let me know if you want to use an image, it is too complicated to work out all the individual licences with the artwork that I own when I post them, hence no permissions given. This is due to varying ages, types and so on, but if the intended use is for research, education, reference works etc I will check out the image and I doubt if there will be a problem.
If you use one without permission, I will hunt you down and ...................
