Photography: The act of convincing the masses that what they're looking at is actually art and not just a snapshot.

By all means contact me for any usage or prints.

I'm interested in:

rocks and fossils
hiking
evolution
the earth
hatred
music
wild animals
war
art
baseball
mountains
moustaches (with a "u" its more formal)
books on any of the preceding subjects

I feel like photographers have lost their way. Fidelity has been abandoned and replaced by HDR, low-fi and holga. Where has craftsmanship gone? What happened to taking pride in making a powerful image, both subjectively and technically speaking?

"if ANYONE can capture a moment it's this guy. through his images he can take us from a bar with a laughing cowboy to a sweaty, gritty gig. what i love is his uncanny ability to completely encapsulate something in a picture and truly convey it to his viewers! a picture taken just before a giggle or just after a break-dancing move; he manages to fantastically convey feeling, movement, wit and technical skill in his portraiture.
a fantastic photographer with a varied portfolio; i can only welcome you as you will be returning frequently once you've first fallen for greg's pictures."
