You might have previously seen some of my shots on flickr aka AndWhyNot. I've set up this MotorFocus account exclusively for my car shots.

Since I first attended a motorshow aged 8 I've been fascinated by the pairing of cars and cameras. My shots have improved since then, but my motivation persists: to capture light falling on an object of beauty. And if a car's beautiful when it's stationary, it becomes moreso when it's moving, so much of my work sets out to capture or imply movement.

I'm a specialist in night work and the creative effects that can be achieved with long exposure photography; my driving shots have been featured in the 2009 light painting documentary Luminary. I also undertake daytime shoots and motoring event photography.
