You all inspire me .... allowing my mind to travel to places you take me. Letting me see the world differently, through your eyes & words ...

I wish I could express myself equally ....till then I thank you all sincerely.

I break my silence. Inspired by you all, I decided to pick up my camera & click. I am no pro, like most of you.

Actually, I have not the faintest idea of how a camera works. Shutters are my eyelids, lens are my eyes, exposure is where I am and the film is my mind. Nonetheless, an adorable toy and I enjoy the medium.

I will underline that none of my pics are enhanced/readjusted with the computer, which I feel it kind of defeats the purpose. What you see, is what I shot (good/bad) ie SOOC (straight out of the camera).

You're invited to shuffle through the pictures & comment if you please, maybe I'll improve my photographic skills ... till then enjoy, at least have a laugh ....

Update:
Since the above, a lot has changed. I started off with Point & Shoot Canon Ixus for a long time.

Inspired by you all, last year I moved to a Canon G10. Still shooting point & shoot, I gradually ventured into fiddling with AV, TV & eventually M modes.

By pure chance whilst buying a Xmas present for a friend's son, I ended up buying a Diana Black Jack for myself. The love for film grew :) and moreso 6x6.

Soon I learnt its limits & craved for more. A few months ago, I splashed out on a Bronica. Splashed because it seemed a lot of money for something I know nothing about or how to use.

What can I say? drugged, addicted, obsessed, possessed ... can't get enough of it! utterly inamored by her, by photography. A constant battle between desire & means, like any relation, smiles & squabbles, impaitence. At times, I feel like a schoolboy in big men's shoes, shy to pull her out yet chuffed to bits :)

Your comments will be most welcomed on my shots. A hand of guidance or suggestions on what I should (apart from getting a life) be doing. Till then, I thank you all for your inspiration and time to visit.
