I've always had an appreciation for 'The Image' but this only manifested itself as an interest in photgraphy in Autumn 2009. Looking back to the start of my stream I'm happy with how I've progressed but one quick look through the stunning images from other flickr members and I know how much further there is to go.

For me, it's all about the finished article. If a shot looks perfect straight from the box then I'll use it. If it takes an evening in software to deliver my creative vision then so be it. However, I've learnt the hard way that you can't polish a turd - if I take a crap shot, no amount of perseverance or software will make it look good!
