Introduction
Visual News Associates (VNA): established January, 2000, is a media production and consultancy services organization focused on creation of high-quality features covering a broad range of relevant issues in Pakistan and the region.
Our clientele includes some of the largest names in the news industry, such as CNN, CNBC, Getty images, SIPA PRESS, Bloomberg, and amongst the most prominent human development organizations; including UNDP, UNHCR, UNICEF and the World Bank. We have covered such events as the 2005 Pakistan earthquake, the 2010 Pakistan floods, the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, and the multiple unfortunate humanitarian crises in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir.
Objective
Our objective is to provide news media for accurate, responsible, and timely coverage of events of human interest from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kashmir for clients all over the world.
Recent Projects
Some of our recent projects are summarized below.
•Photo and video coverage of the devastating moon soon floods and relief work in Swat, central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was provided to UNDP Pakistan, European Union, World Bank, and Pèlerin (French weekly).
•A lake was formed at Hunza river after a massive land-slide at Attabad in northern Pakistan, the photo/video project was carried out for The National/Abu Dhabi Media Company and can be watched at:
