The images of historical photographs and ephemera posted are taken from originals that are (or have been) in Rescued by Rover's possession. Nothing is scanned from a modern book or magazine or grabbed from elsewhere on the internet.

You are very welcome to use Rescued by Rover’s pictures for your own interest and pleasure, but please be kind enough to make contact if you want to use anything for publication or other forms of distribution.

If you want to use any image in an artwork of your own, please ask first. Please also treat the ordinary people in vintage images with respect if you do use their images- they lived their lives in their own times, they were what they were, and they can't give their permission or correct our misunderstandings of who they were or how they lived.
