British born Chinese, from London, living and working in Shanghai, China.
I'm using a Canon 5D digital SLR for serious digital work with which I got in July 2008. Before that I've been using a Canon 30D which I still have, and I use the following lenses:
Canon 50mm / f1.8 (the Nifty Fifty)
Canon 85mm / f1.8
Canon 17-40mm / f4.0 L lens (since May 2005)
Canon 70-200mm / f/4.0 L lens (since June 2005)
Sigma 12-24mm / f4.5-5.6 EX DG lens (since March 2005, hardly use)
I've also started to get into vintage medium format cameras and currently use a few Rolleiflex twin lens reflex cameras and a Yashica Mat 124G, all of which use 6 x 6 format 120 film.
Also have a second hand Zenza Bronica ETRS 645 medium format for serious film work (like the Hongkong harbour shots). I have three lenses:
50mm (wide angle lens)
75mm / f2.8 E-II (standard lens)
150mm / f3.5 MC (telephoto / portrait lens)
And I have a small Canon Powershot IXUS 860 because I needed something small that I can carry around when I don't want to carry the big DSLR with me.
In July 2006 I bought a studio outfit and started trying studio flash photography. Some of the results can be found in my studio set.
