New Era Photography and StudiosPromote Your Page Too





I'm a 59 year old who is picking up photography again after 25 years of working too many hours. I have a lot to learn about digital but I'm under no deadline to master the art.

I do seem to enjoy and spend most of my flickr time running groups. I both start groups from scratch and give admin assistance with established groups. I'm at around 30 public and private groups right now. If you want assistance in starting a group of your own, let me know and I'll try to help. If you like to join groups, let me know also.

I started shooting DSLR with a Nikon D60 and now with a Nikon D300. The lenses I use are a variety of Nikon VR lenses. Any of my older SLR pics that may be posted would be shot with Pentax, ME, MX or K1000. I still have & use the K1000. It''s the toughest camera I've ever seen!

I have also started a photography business with a lifelong friend of mine. New Era Photography and Studios was organized this year.

We offer portait photography in our small but very well equipped studio on the outskirts of Raleigh. It was designed to provide studio space for hire to the many DSLR users in the area who do not have the resources to own their own studio.

And finally, the business caters to events with its capacity to provide on site, real time printing of photos taken by us pros from vantage points unavailable to other attendees. On site "green screen" processing is also being introduced this summer.

The driving force behind this business is fun. Fun for the models, the patrons and the owners. I look forward to working with young models, MUAs and photo editors from the area in was that will help them further their careers. The fun I have around such persons will forever keep me thinking and acting I am young too!
