Hi, I'm John.
10/2011:
Long overdue update. New city, new dog, new equipment. I photograph what I find interesting or amusing. I find myself tending to shoot in low light situations. I try to share humor with images & hopefully, an alternate perspective.
8/2009:
I've been shooting as a hobby now for about 3 years. I use a Canon S3 IS mostly as it is very portable and powerful. I also shoot with a Canon 40D when I don't mind hauling the bulk or doing more technical stuff.
I am learning as I go, experimenting, and tossing lots of pictures. Beyond an occasional crop, I pretty much display straight out of the camera.
My favorite subject is sunsets. The colors are truly inspiring. Each is unique and ever changing. Oh, and Scooby.
