The World Peace Mural is a continually growing web mural who's mission is to promote world peace. The mural is comprised of individual art squares submitted by people around the globe who share the vision of world peace; a world free from violence, war & nuclear weapons. This is an important moment in human history. Collectively we have greater responsibility and more at stake than all our predecessors combined. The world is smaller and more interdependent than any other time in history due to the modern era of globalization. Our population is larger than ever and exceeds 6.5 billion people, all of whom depend on Earth's limited resources for survival. The world's nuclear weapon stockpile is currently large enough to destroy our civilization many times over & extinguish most of the life on Earth. It is important that all of us, now global citizens, foster a unified commitment to peaceful coexistence. Our future depends on it. The world can eliminate the use of violence, war and nuclear weapons but it will require the help of all it's citizens. Please join the cause, become an instrument of peace by submitting an art square to the World Peace Mural. It's easy, lots of fun and totally free! Together, one by one, we can spread the message and build a global voice in support of world peace. While we're at it we can build the largest web mural in the world for all to visit.
