Let me start by saying that if you visit me and I go to your Flickr page and find that you have nothing to contribute, and that you are only collecting favorites, I will sadly have to block you. Flickr is a place to share and if you are not a giver then you are a taker and that is sad.

Now for the boring stuff:

I am retired, after working 40 years as an administrative assistant for several large local CPA firms. There is a freedom that comes with retirement that I only remember as a child. It took a bit of getting used to, but I have embraced it. This has opened the door to what I have always wanted to do....create and explore my artistic side.

My mother taught me how to crochet at the age of 9 and I have had some sort of yarn or thread wrapped around my fingers ever since.
