Did film work with 35mm and Med format from 1977 to early 80's. Never did consider my self a technical photographer. No charts, no formulas, no math, just my vision and ability to capture that moment. Most paid projects I received were I think more via luck then my skill, but then maybe not.

Returned to what is now digital photography in June of 2009 and pretty much a brand new start. Wow! Looks like engineering technology, marketing, internet and physics took over art and vision. Still not impressed with the formulas and charts! and all them MP stories. Not much talk on internet about art, it appears that was replaced by photos of rulers, brick walls, charts and some crazy formulas.

I think many are now to busy managing technology, marketing and blogs, perhaps we should be out shooting more and capturing those moments. However, for what it's worth, I have seen plenty of simple but great work.

Not a big fan of heavy PP, but at times ........just got to have some fun with it, plus I use it to recreate back in the camera..

To all the true artistic Pro's, I wish you best of luck!

I wish I had more time to invest in my passion!
