    Matt Clement's Images says:

"Masashi Mochida is not only one of the finest photographers I've seen, he's also one of the most dedicated to his subjects - the Japanese macaque. His commitment to capturing and sharing the lives of these incredible animals is truly inspiring.

I hope to see the macaques for myself one day (especially Torako) but in the meantime, I'll keep on enjoying the images that Masashi captures for us."

    Jay Mess Photography says:

"When I saw Mochida1970’s photos the first time, I immediately fell in love with them.
It is hard to explain for those who are not interested in Japanese Macaques, but they are amazing.
They’ve got something purer than human being even if they’re just like we are: they have traditions, dialects and, believe me, the love between a Japanese macaque mother and her child is so strong, that you’d be surprised to watch that poetry, that sense of family in a single hug.
    You’d feel blessed.

Mochida1970 knows everything about it, he respects their behavior, he’s a biographer of their feelings, a poet; he loves them and you can see it in his amazing, touching shots.
If you love primates, if you love poetry in simpler gestures, this is the place to be.

This is my little tribute to a very talented photographer that I’ve never seen because he lives on the other side of the world, but I feel close to me like an old friend, because in his pictures I see the same love I feel for one of the most fascinating primate in the world.

Wishing my photos of Japanes Macaques will be half as great as yours someday,

    ありがとうございます。

    I hope you won’t mind :)"
