Southern Forests' photostream  

Southern Forests is the Flickr account for the project Southern Forests for the Future at the World Resources Institute and contains images used on our website, www.seesouthernforests.org.

WRI’s Southern Forests for the Future project seeks to raise awareness of the threats facing the forests of the southern United States and lay the foundation for increasing the acreage that is conserved or managed in a sustainable manner.

Our photostream is a compilation of images and maps from many sources, including Creative Commons licensed images from many other Flickr users, historic images, maps created by WRI for our project, and online image libraries such as Bugwood.org.

If you find images on our photostream that you would like to use, please check the caption for information on the original source of the photo. We recommend that you verify licensing with the original provider. All of our original content is Creative Commons licensed.
