I was born January 31st 1951 in Tillamook, Oregon USA. I have spent most of my life here. It's a beautiful place to visit but if I had a choice, I would live somewhere where it doesn't rain so much.
Most of my photos are of reflective water, sunsets and low light time exposures. Although I love interacting with other people, I also enjoy losing myself in a quiet place ........... just me and my camera.
I don't participate in banner or comment groups. I prefer honest comments and constructive criticism. I delete large obnoxious banners and awards. I also delete invites for post / comment groups.
I enjoy the many friendships I have made here. There are a lot of wonderful, talented people here. I can travel the world without leaving my living room.
Please feel free to give me your honest opinion of my photos. I may not always agree with you but I consider every comment and I have learned a lot through other people's opinions as well as their work.
I am not here to sell photos or prints but rather to share what I think is beautiful or interesting with others. If you wish to use one of my photos for a non profit reason, please ask me first. I will most likely say yes.

"How to describe Jack.....
If Jack were a Star Wars character, he'd be Jack Skywatcher as it seems he always has his camera pointed toward the beautifully painted skies.
If Jack lived in Mexico, they would call him El Rey Ray (The King of Rays) as he can capture some amazing rays of light piercing thru the clouds and somehow bent right into his camera lens.
I could go on with more but I couldn't do any more justice than sending you to his photostream to look around for yourself. All I can add is that Jack does have a deep passion to the art of photography as well as a great camaraderie with other fellow photographers. He keeps an eye on other photographers streams and comments regularly on those shots and/or those streams that he enjoys.
Wit and wisdom flow effortlessly from him just the same as the great photographs flow from his camera directly into his photostream!
