I consider myself an enthusiastic amateur photographer. I'm still learning how to use my new DSLR (I got it in Feb 2011)
My favorite photo subjects are the birds and wildlife that surround our home, on a 2-acre wooded lot 25 miles north of Detroit, Michigan. I also take nature pictures when my husband and I go hiking and kayaking in the warmer months of the year.
Other things I like to photograph: barns, rusty things, and macros or close-ups of almost anything.
