About my Flickr
I use Flickr to share my pictures with my friends and family. Beyond that it serves as additional backup storage for my 12,000 (and counting) photographs. My favorite pictures can be seen in my photo blog: Struggling with images.
Flickr Health Warning
Be warned, Flickr can seriously affect your life. It can be totally addictive, hours can pass unnoticed while you browse the wonderful pictures, it can be even worse if you become active in the Flickr groups.
Joining the 365 days group on Flickr provided the catalyst for me to re-evaluate and change my life. Thanks in no small part to Flickr I'm the happiest I've been in years; Flickr introduced me to my Soul mate, best friend and the love of my life. So be careful, you never know what might happen.
Use of My Photographs
My Flickr photostream is for my own personal use and my pictures are generally 'All rights reserved'. From time to time I am asked for permission to use my pictures, and I am happy to provide licences to use specific images. Please contact me via Flickr mail or via my website if you want to use one of my pictures. Licences for non-commercial use are normally granted free of charge.
Blocking
I never thought I'd have to add this, but if you don't have any visible content on your photostream, or you don't have a buddy icon or I consider your content inappropriate - I will to quote the Flickr community guidelines consider you to be 'That guy' and you will be blocked. And I do check.

So what can I say about Gary? Well, his photostream is a wonderous place - full of superb self portaits and a variety of wonderful images documenting his life.
As a person, he is extremely self-effacing but is known to be kind, thoughtful, caring and loving. As a friend he is all of the above, but with a dry humour which never fails to delight.
