I've discovered that I really like taking pictures, I mean like really like taking pictures. I got my Nikon D40X in 2007 on a whim (walked into Costco with no intention of buying a camera---and walked out with a camera in the wagon) and I've been taking pictures like a lunatic ever since. The birds all know me by name, because I stalk them & my daughter probably thinks that the camera is part of my face. Recently, I have gotten comfortable enough to take the camera off the auto setting...baby steps. I think I'm making good progress. I love looking at so many different artists here on Flickr, there so much to learn from you all.
I'm saving my pennies for the Nikon D700. one day my friend, one day...
