Hello and welcome! These are the photos fromAtlanta's Biggest Picnic for a good cause ... the September 2009 Slow Food Eat In Picnic at Piedmont Park.

Over 200 picnics will be happening nationwide that day in support of Real Food In Schools. We'd like to see more money for school lunches, more fresh vegetables, and more support for programs bringing fresh food to kids. And we'd like to see all of you out at our favorite park to enjoy a beautiful day with a great group of folks!

These photos are a collaboration between the many amazing people working hard to make this picnic a giant success - behind the scenes of organizing, and of the picnic itself

Atlanta has a powerful and proud history of grassroots organizing - we are proud to be a part of this!
