I work in historic preservation and urban planning, and I'm working on a research project about Route 66 motels and their owners, supported by the Graham Foundation for the Fine Arts and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I also work as a writer, researcher, and media producer for planning and community development organizations, including MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the Fannie Mae Foundation, the North Texas Community Development Association, and the 2022 Foundation.
