"Mariko is one of the most artistic person I know. I don't know if you've seen some of her paintings, I can assure you, they can easily make it to a gallery or on someone's wall. Mariko's an artistic gal who can seriously be good at any form of art that she puts her mind to. Besides being good at painting, she's good at photography and my favourite, cooking. :)
If i ever need to satisfy my food cravings, I just go to Mariko's page and it makes me wish I could just stick my hands through the monitor and eat all her food.
She's without a doubt a cool gal who I can have fun and quirky conversations with. I'm sitting infront of my computer and being bored then Mariko pops out of nowhere on google talk and the dorkyness begins. If only San Francisco was a bit closer to NY, I'd probably end up watching lots of doramas white eating heaps and heaps of good food with Mariko, and Anthony of course!

The things that she sees, which in other people's eyes would be boring and mundane, are a glimpse of a world which we half-perceive and always eludes our grasp. Whether it's pictures of herself (she puts the 'hot' in hot-shot) or of the world around her - it is always wondrous, swoonsome and delicate, like the taste of bittersweet chocolate.
And you can't mention Mariko without Anthony. Because he is the apple of her eye. And you can see and feel this in her pictures. They capture a world which we should all aspire to - a world filled with love, warmth, tenderness and beauty.
