Update 10/09 Just got a new Canon 7D. Looking to shoot video clips of my grandchildren with various lenses!
UPDATE: 9/09 With a lifelong love of the ocean, but giving up on the dream of living near the sea due to the reality of the cost, my dream is alive again. Along with some family members we now share ownership of a house in the Florida Keys! I'm looking forward to years of enjoyment and being able to share this with my kids and grandkids. I'm hopeful that when I'm gone, they will see the ocean and think of me as I do of my dad who passed this love on to me.
UPDATE: I'm updating my profile to make it a bit shorter. Those new to my profile won't get the "whole" story as before.
Many thanks to those of you that have viewed my photostream and have taken time to comment. While I take pictures for my personal enjoyment, I believe photography is similar to telling a joke; that is, it's just better when shared with someone else.
I am a cancer survivor (12 years now). Jesus is the Joy in my life. But He has extended my days for me to "see" real joy in this life. That more "tangable" joy in my life lately has been from my Grandkids. They make the last 57 years seem like training for me to be a better Papa
