Hello,

Thanks so much for viewing my photostream!

I'm just a girl who loves to spend time interpreting the world around her through the lens of a camera. I'm not a professional photographer, by any means, but I am an artist who utilizes several mediums to express the beauty that lies before my eyes. Photography happens to be one of my most favorite mediums.

I have always been fascinated with light and how it catches, surrounds, merges and illuminates various objects.I am captivated in what one may call, "chasing light" and snapping it in a moment that stands frozen in images.

Since my teens, I have always held a camera in my hand. From my Canon TX and AE-1, to my first Nikon (N80, then N6006) and presently, a Nikon D50 (my first DSLR). While the D50 may not be a professional camera, it has served me well and is very durable. It was once explained to me, "its not the camera that makes an image with a statement, its the passion within the photographer". This is the motto I now live by.

I am focused on becoming a better photographer, and I believe the Flickr world is the best place to be. Therefore, your comments, critiques and advice on my images are most welcome.
