Thanks for visiting my photostream and profile. I take photographs for pleasure, not for my living. I think flickr can be a great place to pick up ideas and techniques and to see the world through other people's eyes, but I'm not interested in pixelated trophies or frenzied self-promotion or building a huge social network here. The amount of time I have for photography varies a lot, so please forgive me if I don't always respond to comments or reciprocate contacts.

If you would like to use any of my pictures, please note that most of them are all rights reserved and some are licensed via Getty Images. I don't charge for image licensing but if you would otherwise pay for licensing I will ask you to make a charity donation. I would like to know of and receive an appropriate credit for any pictures published elsewhere, whether on the internet or in print.
