Scott Bradley is a husband, father, coach and community leader. He is proud to be your federal Liberal candidate for Ottawa Centre.

Scott has lived in Ottawa Centre since 1994. After working for three years as an advisor to a Federal Cabinet Minister, Scott has spent the past dozen years working in business development, corporate strategy and government relations for several prominent organizations including Bell Canada and Canadian Airlines. Recently, Scott developed a program to promote science education for aboriginal youth in consultation with Merck Canada.

Scott and his wife Fiona believe strongly in giving back to the community in which they live. They have both taken on numerous volunteer positions and enjoy getting involvedin Ottawa Centre community life. Scott volunteers with the Civic Hospital Neighbourhood Association, Easter Seals, and other charity groups, along with coaching his kids’ hockey and soccer teams. Scott is also part of the 20th Century Boys, a rock band that plays for a number of Ottawa charities including the Ottawa Food Bank and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre.

In 2009 Scott and Fiona received a “Community Kindness” award from CJOH Television and the Ottawa Police in recognition of their community involvement.

Scott has long been involved in local, grassroots politics dating back to his university days: when he was a student at the University of Western Ontario he successfully ran as President for the University Students’ Council and worked hard to make sure students were well-represented in the Students’ Union. Scott joined the Liberal Party of Canada in 1987; since then, he has hammered in signs and knocked on doors in every federal and provincial election in Ottawa Centre since he moved here in 1994.

Scott has an MBA from Queen’s University and a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
