About myself, many silver moons ago now....

This all started eversince I got the chance to use a Minolta film camera.
My Dad had owned a few point and shoot cameras during my grade school days, which I used as often as I wanted to.

My very first serious snapshot was that of a cat half-napping on someone else's house rooftop one warm sunny afternoon.
I can even remember vividly, how I eagerly positioned myself on the verandah, trying to nail one decent shot
and at the same time wishing the cat wont move or run away,
otherwise I will forever lost that moment.
The cat did move. But I was on alert so....

Im happy to know that I still have that print kept safe somewhere in my secret "childhood box".

Something hidden beneath....

At times when I capture an image with a meaning so deep,
I know I captured my own emotions as well.
Some of my photographs are too personal,
I can even feel them breathe and see them bleed....

Too many things too little time...

I need something to freeze the time for me so that I can check it out a lot and be amaze
once more, over and over again...
Each day whenever I study my surroundings, I grow fond of the old things that had been there for years
and yet I never even cared to throw a second look.
Because of photography, finally I found myself rediscovering them in a new point of view...

I am forever a child...

And the inquisitive mind of the little child in me wanting to be satisfied
why things around me do look the way they do
And for the life of me, I had never stop asking why...

Seeing things in a new perspective makes me click that shutter button.
I will be forever grateful for the invention of the camera.

Im an amateur, a hobbyist and self-taught. A forever dreamer.
And yes, I believe that my journey has just begun ....

regardless if they regularly visit my stream or not.
Some people in my contact list are like a family to me.
Without them, I might not be as inspired.
