Hi, I'm Gavin, a 30-something year old guy with dark brown hair and brown eyes. I'm about 6ft tall and have a friendly, if sometimes shy smile.

I like reading, films (a variety - sci-fi, fantasy, romantic, comedy, and others), photography (mainly nature and animals - not professionally), and I'm getting back into writing (stories, poetry, haikus, etc), but don't expect a book from me yet :)

Please do not ask to be added as Friends or Family, unless you are actually one of my family or friends - I appear to be the odd one out on Flickr to use them in the way they were originally intended... :-)

Some of my photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license, although others I have retained the copyright of. Please check the licence on the picture first, and respect the conditions of the CC licensed ones - this means that you can use them for non-commercial (which I interpret as non-profit making) purposes, you must attribute the photo to me (please link back to my photostream or the photo itself), and while you are allowed to modify the photo, the resulting photo must still be attributed (as described above) and licensed under this licence. Please also email or message me to let me know where you are using my CC licensed pictures, as it's only courteous.

Photos where I have retained the copyright may not be republished on any other site or another Flickr user's photostream or for any purpose without written permission from myself (for which I may charge and attach conditions - if you want a similar picture for free, why not go and take a photo yourself?)
