Forrest Fulton, Principal of Forrest Fulton Architecture, was born and raised in Marbury, Alabama.

Mr. Fulton formed his current practice after considerable and varied experience working for internationally renowned architecture offices, including RoTo Architects, Machado + Silvetti and Associates, and Steven Holl Architects. He has worked on a number of important projects including a church for the Vatican, a Museum and Master Plan for Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut., and two large scale LEED targeted buildings in China, one of which is targeted to be LEED platinum.

Mr. Fulton received a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Auburn University and Masters of Architecture and Master of Design Studies from Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he focused on relationship of place, culture, technology, sustainability, and large scale development. Mr. Fulton’s approach to architecture was first formed while a student at Auburn University Rural Studio. During his thesis year, he received hands-on experience with sustainable, resourceful design in a culturally distinct community. High levels of study, analysis, collaboration, and constraints brought about a unique design of Masons Bend Community Center, a building that has received international praise.

He has also been an Assistant Visiting Professor at Auburn University School of Architecture. His research there included development of sustainable, high-performance building envelopes; and implementation of new digital modeling, analysis, and design tools.

Mr. Fulton is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts.
