Keen photographer with a myopic interest in seascapes. The moodier the better – in fact, ideally a ringside seat as Poseidon and Neptune have a death match in an apocalyptic end of days electric storm. Although come to think of it, that would only get the filters covered in sea spray....

I very much enjoy Flickr and firmly believe in not taking it all too seriously. I don’t understand how some people seem to get so bent out of shape about how flaky it all is and how come a macro of a Star Wars lego figure got onto Explore. Who cares.

Any interest that draws you to most desolate spots at the most anti-social times is always going to attract the less socially well-adjusted, so at least the landscape/seascape Flickr groups are performing a social service globally by sparing friends and relations our worst geeky excesses and keeping us off the streets.

There are enough talented people in my contacts making fantastic images to give genuine inspiration – handy when you have to throw yourself out of bed in deepest darkest Buckinghamshire to drive to the coast at silly o’clock. So thanks for all the super images posted up, and for taking time to leave comments and suggestions against my photostream.

I firmly believe in sharing info so will always geo-tag my locations and am happy to answer any questions about locations I have made it to. As long as you promise not to march into my frame in yellow waterproofs.

Thanks for looking.
