So, the potted history bit...
Born 1962, somewhere in England....
OK, so I'm not quite Indiana Jones (I wish!), but I am a big history fan, particularly medieval stuff - Wars of the Roses, people bashing each other up dressed up like soup tins, etc. All good fun! I have been known (i.e. frequently) to stand for hours staring at a deserted field simply because someone fought someone else there several hundred years earlier. Otherwise I can be found dragging my other half round cafes, bookshops, pubs, castles usually with a book in hand - and another in my pocket ready to release (as part of bookcrossing)....
I live in Horsham, West Sussex and work in Redhill, Surrey. The former is a pretty market town, surrounded by the countryside of the Weald. Redhill isn't, though it is an interesting little town with lots of Victorian railway history. Honest guv. Would I lie to you?
