Born in 1978 PICTOMANIAC fell in love with pens from childhood on. When the marriage of his parents turned into a shotgun wedding, he escaped into a world full of colors and imaginativeness with the aid of pen´n´paper. Later on, he discovered the world of aerosol, graffiti and acrylic paint. From now on his love grew to some kind of mania. In school his major field of study was art. After general qualification for university entrance he succesfully completed the design-degree program at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Niederrhein) in Germany.
Then in childhood, as today, he´s like a boat without a steersman or even paddles.
If there´s an interesting island, maybe PICTOMANIAC will nip down there for a minute or two, depending on, how much an island is able to touch his heart.
