Welcome to my Flickr!
I am amateur from Vancouver BC Canada. I was bitten by the shutter bug when I bought my first film SLR Nikon F65 a few years ago. I took a beginner's course on photography and learnt about shutter speed, aperture, focal length and basic composition etc.
After then I started my journey in exploring the world through my viewfinder.
Photographic vision allows me to see the world differently and I enjoy the process.
Now we come to digital age. I think there are pros and cons. On the one hand we enjoy a lot of flexibility and control over the image making process. On the other hand, there is a trend to do more post-processing rather than emphasis on in-camera skills. I believe a photographer following more discipline is going to make better images.
I do not have an unique or personal theme right now. But I love macro, landscape and B&W. I would like to try on other genres when time comes.
The gear that I have been using:
Nikon D300
Fujifilm Finepix S3 Pro
