Photography was a hobby and thanks to friends and family who encouraged and inspired me to turn it into a passion. I would like to call myself a student of photography.
Haven't really found my niche, so shoot anything that interests me. Started out with nature (flowers, birds, bugs) around the house and neighborhood and gradually expanded into other areas of photography.
If you view my images, please leave a comment... be it criticism or encouragement for it will help me shoot better images.
Although I'm not a professional photographer, my images are a result of passion and a lot of hard work.

"There was a time when he was taking his first steps, cautiously, furtively. It was nothing remarkable. I would think to myself, 'Yep, I could give him a few pointers'. Then one day, he decided to take on a 365 project. I balked at this, surely it was too early to be starting one of those!
But he began it undeterred. And suddenly, there was a transformation, a complete transcending of talent and skill, the kind which you see in the movies.
Even in such situations, things are not always lost, that's still time to catch up. However, this was different. The changes and improvements were not a linear progression, it was without a doubt logarithmic. An exponential progression the likes of which I had studied in maths class. And the progress continues on, unabated, impossibly so.
It is this thought which impregnates me with a deep sense of jealousy for this man. If only it were a simple matter of dismissing the entire thing to luck, but those are false premises.
He may believe that my borderline berating of him in his photo comments are the result of the envy I harbor him, but it is in fact a manifestation of the immense respect I hold for this person which shows me to be more frank and comfortable with my speech towards him.
My only solace in all of this is that he won't be able to understand half of the words I've used here so he doesn't have to know I like him.
You can trust me on this one. Nobody else can work the word impregnate into a sentence for any reason."20th August, 2011
