Although actually German, I live on the Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest of the USA (in summer), and on the Baja peninsula of Mexico (in winter). Retired (long ago). Age 65.
I'm taking pictures all my life and consider its main purpose to learn to see.
On many pictures you'll see Parvin - my wife, my best friend and partner in everything (for 39 years now). Often - at least somewhere in the distance - she is the model, sometimes she actually was the one who pressed the button.
