So what do I say.......

I am just a wanderer in this thing we call life, I'm still looking for that place called home.

I would not call myself artistic, I seriously doubt I have any "real" artistic talent. But I do love photography. It's a way for me to capture the moments in my life that mean something to me.

In my own way, the pictures I take are part of the story of my life. Each one says a little bit more about where I have been, where I am, and where I hope to go. Each one reveals a little bit more of what I feel inside. I try to accompany each picture with a little story or a summation of my feelings and emotional state. In a way they are intrinsicaly linked to that paticular photo, a brief window into exactly what that photo say about me, or what I say about it. Each photo is a little slice of my life, captured.

Looking through my own stream of photos I realize that for the most part I have strayed away from realism and that for the most part my photos are a work of expresionism. I am less concerned about style or widely held photo "rules" than I am about the moment itself. To me the emotions either expressed within the photo or the emotions I felt when taking them are far more important than the details and visual appeal. The pictures are displayed to evoke and display what I am inside. So I guess you can say all of this is really for me. But I hope you like some of the moments I've captured....


Some people have commented that my collection of photos is dark, and sometimes disterbing. Some have said that I "should lighten up".

Well the world isn't all sunshine and lollypops. There are dark and desterbing and very real things out there that people suffer, and ignoring them, is not the answer. We have to face them if we want to elict real change. I for one, am trying to draw attention to that very fact.
