studio béluga (http://www.studiobeluga.wordpress.com) is a free-form collective of interdisciplinary thinkers of all kinds. primarily congregating in online spaces, bélugas come from a variety of backgrounds. we believe that the sharing of information and resources should be not only cross-disciplinary but also international: an urban planner in dubai might have something to teach a poet in victoria; a californian film-maker might be doing just the kind of work you need for your design conference. whatever the setting, bélugas are bright and curious.

they are also non-committal. unlike many collectives, studio béluga encourages spontaneous entry and exit. every pod (in which bélugas meet to work in a studio and/or produce an exhibition) lasts no more than three months. this ensures that ideas remain fresh and creative energy is concentrated. it also allows a maximum number of participants to interact and access the space and resources.
