My profession (business consulting) and avocation (photography) reflect my interest in looking for unique patterns. Living in Chicago I’m often finding these patterns in the great architecture and urban landscapes that define this city. However, my work requires a lot of travel, and when I can find a spare moment I’ll seek a park, pond or pine tree to find other patterns to photograph. My photographs don’t often include people, but I’m reminded of Ansel Adam’s response to such a critique, "There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer."

I welcome all constructive comments. Wry humor, sarcasm and irony are particularly appreciated.
