Hello!
True name is Dick Morgan. I am a novice photographer aspiring to be a competent amateur! Can’t remember when I wasn’t interested in photography, and took classes in high school. Started with a fixed lens 35mm AGFA (man, do I wish I still had it) graduated to a Vivitar SLR and promptly had to set the hobby aside to raise a family. By the time I was in position to consider taking up the expense of film photography, I was experiencing the hereditary curse of "ET" (essential tremors) that turned photography in a futile effort.

Then along came digital, and after that, "image stabilization!" I wondered if that works? So I bought the Canon S3 and whaddya know, it really does! Even so, hand-held low shutter speed is still a challenge.
