I'm an irish girl who used to paint oil on canvas flowers in Ireland. I studied art and design in the Dublin Institute of Technology then I set up my own business as an independent painter.
I had one exhibition and sold quite a few paintings over the years to regular clients.
I had always wanted to live in Paris so I decided to take a break from painting and moved there in 2001.
I already knew how to make a canvas look beautiful with the use of colour but I also wanted to learn how to make people look beautiful too, so I did a correspondence course on Image consultancy and colour analysis with Colourflair, Brighton.

I started painting again in 2009 — this time on the iPhone when I discovered the Brushes application.
I like the fact that I have everything I need all in one little device, and It's a really nice sensation to draw on the iPhone or the iPad with a stylus - It's like drawing with a marker on a piece of glass.

I am inspired by bright colours and harmonious compositions.
I always paint flowers because I like their interesting shapes, velvety texture, beautiful patterns and vivid natural colours.
I love to be able to capture the ephemeral beauty of a flower by painting it on an iPhone or an iPad and I love that the picture is glowing on a bright screen, that each of the strokes are recorded with the Brushes App and can be played back as a film. This really does justice to the flower and brings it to life!
