I'm fresh out of high school and I'll be starting freshman year in college. For my 18th birthday (March 1, 2009) my parents got me a Nikon D90 because I had been working with film SLRs and really wanted to get into digital. I'm self-taught too. I hope to get a part-time job so I can save up for studio lighting and a speedlight, oh and more lenses. I'd really like to go into professional photography as a side job kind of thing, but my main career goal is to work on Broadway...whether it be on stage or as a director/stage manager.
