Hello my name is Jeroen, how nice of you to drop by!

Right from the start (end of 2007) I really got into Flickr. For me it’s a great way to express myself, to be creative (or at least try to be!), and (more important) to get feedback from fellow photographers from all over the world.

For me Flickr it’s not so much about the number of views you get or the times your photos make it into Explore (although that’s a nice thing). The best thing that can happen to me on Flickr is when some sort of connection is established, when you really get to know someone through his or her photos, and that person is also wants to get to know you.

Apart from photography I’m crazy about (pop)music, books and movies.

At first I thought I should be on Flickr every day. I don’t think that’s true for me anymore: to be on Flickr should be fun and relaxing. So if I’m too busy doing other things, too tired or just not inspired I stay away from Flickr. But rest assured…I’ll be back! ;-)

I’m married to a lovely woman and we have a hell of a daughter.
I was born in 1964 (you do the math) so you may call me a grumpy old man if you like… (my daughter does!)
