Heavily inspired by the post-punk angst of early electronic/industrial music pioneers, 3kStatic fuses Dadaist cut-up techniques with elements of house, trip hop, and IDM to create an eclectic - and often harsh, inflammatory, and ardently activist social view - that has seen its releases reviewed by political journals as well as the music press.

The band's most recent album "Where's Our Piece of the Groovy World?" quickly became the most successful 3kStatic digital release in Summer/Fall 2006, having hit #1 (iTunes Spain Dance Chart) and also charting Top 5 (Dance) in Italy, Belgium, and Switzerland.

A long-time staple on the soundtrack of MTV's "The Real World" and "Road Rules", an 18-track 'best of' compilation 'Other Ideals: The Best of 3kStatic 1999-2007) was released on March 27, 2007 on the dPulse/INgrooves labels and immediately rose to Top 5 on various genres on the eMusic 'Power Charts'.

'Other Ideals' also charted #19 on Rhapsody's 'Industrial Dance' charts, and spawned the re-release of the single 'End of the Reel'. That single subsequently charted #4 on the DJ Charts (July 19, 2007) of Germany's Mushroom Magazine.

3kStatic is currently finalizing the production of the forthcoming album 'Voodoo Science', which features an expanded sound and myriad like-minded collaborators from across the music spectrum...details will be available shortly.
