I'm a writer, researcher, citizen scientist, psychoanalytic psychotherapist and conscious evolutionary. I lived most of my life west of the Mississippi, but now I live in the Cumberland Mountains of east Tennessee near two headwater streams of the Cumberland River.

I focus my writing and research in psychoanalysis, conscious evolution, nature and the environment, and social and environmental justice.

Interests: psychoanalysis, conscious evolution, social and environmental justice, civil rights, indigenous rights, earth and life sciences, personal and planetary transformation, nature photography, Tai Chi, jazz, blues, other life in this solar system (and beyond).
