erix! says:
"he lives there, in touch with nature, not doing too much, not wasting time, without haste, without hate.
he lives there, reading, thinking, painting, looking.
he presents us with the fruit of his thinking, not asking anything, not telling anyone what to do.
just being there.
may he go on for a long time."17th October, 2006

lunaryuna AGAINST CENSORSHIP says:
"Stu is one of those restless spirits who can't but contaggiate everyone around with the virus of sharpened perception and deepened sense of sweetbitter earthly existence. I can't really say if he paints better with his fabulous literary quotes, or rhymes better with his colors and brushes. But I know that Stu is one of those complex human caleidoscopic eyes that break our acquainted, cotidiary view and display it in all its singular spectral colors. But what amazed me above all is how his art work truly combines his acid-sharp and dark wits with an overwhelming human warmth.
Every new image a guarantee for unsettling perspectives, he makes my flickr days with ever so surpring revelations and colorful journeys deep into the human condition and that of our societies. But, how could I forget that he is the greatest when it comes to comment on others' contributions to flickr! He truly makes me look forward to it :))"29th April, 2005

Barrybar says:
"To visit deadmanguru is to leave more enlightened, more joyful, more exalted than when you arrived. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words, but when he adds his words, and his quotes, his photos are definitely enhanced. It is a wonderful trip through the eyes and mind of deadmanguru and his photos are well off the beaten path. When I've seen everything else, then I come here ... to see more."

zen says:
"Concerned with getting us to think and less about the constraints of how that should be accomplished, this makes Stu's work eclectic and even appear unfocused - while in fact he relies on the strength of the visual image he has created (sometimes juxtaposed and sometimes complimented by wonderful quotes) not the details of how our epiphany might arise.
His passionful photos are rich with wonder and anticipation and always give me pause and a whiff of something deeper brewing there. Thanks for sharing your journey, friend."30th March, 2005
