I dropped everything to move with my family to Marrakech. A travel and lifestyle writer, my fully illustrated photography book - part memoirs, part Moroccan design treatise - is being published by Artisan Books. My literary agent is Jill Kneerim.

My blog, My Marrakesh (www.mymarrakesh.com.) features strange little stories and beautiful images. Life, culture, shopping, design and a couple of belly dancers thrown in there for good measure

I am also building a boutique hotel with my architect husband in an olive grove in Marrakech, called Peacock Pavilions ( www.peacockpavilions.com.)
